I just created my profile and I'd like to know if I can change the are i picked at the beginning. I picked Translator and want to change it to interpreter.

It doesn't really matter and you're better off with translator anyway, because there are very few interpreter jobs on Upwork, most of which are "in person" somewhere far away from where you are.
