Location drop down is broken

hi, im trying to make a new account and i can fill out everything until i get to the location part. i can type my address and city but because the drop down doesnt work on my computer i cant move forawrd with my application. i was just wondering how to fix this because it seems like a common issue based on the forums but there is not a set solution to it.
