Looking to get Hired

Hi there,

My name is Jason Sellate. I currently live in New Delhi, India and joined Upwork recently. I wanted to inquire what is the best possible way to get hired and start earning because I've been using Upwork for more than 2 months and could not seem to be able to get hired. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Jason Sellate

No, you may be hired at any time. Just keep bidding and write a prevailing proposal for every job. Hope you may get a bit of good news soon. Have a look at this article:

Good Luck Jason!

Thank you for your insight. It seems that I need to wait a bit more and be a bit more patient to be able to get hired.

You say that you're a marketing specialist, yet you're not marketing yourself in your profile. It's just a list of skills - skills that thousands of other freelancers on Upwork also have - and it doesn't even say that you're particularly good at any of these things. Why would a client hire you instead of one of the other 50 applicants that jobs like this usually attract? (Keeping in mind that many of them will have lower rates and more Upwork experience than you have.) That's the question that you need to answer in your profile, and even more specifically in your proposals.

Another way of putting it is that based on his profile page, there is no reason to hire him.

Talking about my profile, can you please share some references or suggestions so that I could make my profile better?

Ask a digital marketing specialist. They usually know that stuff very well.

Oh wait...

I am a Digital marketing specialist and I do know the stuff. Platforms like Google Ads, merchant center, Analytics and Facebook Ads which is clearly being mentioned by me on my profile Sir.

Thank you and would patiently be waiting for an update from your end.
