Message functionality

Hi,I am just getting familiar with upwork,In the messages window,I accidentally tapped clients name or long clicked it perhaps somehow the whole text got highlighted in yellow for few seconds after which highlight gradually faded.I want to know if this is just selection of text or some functionality since the same highlighting is not happening with my own name/text.Thankyou.

Hi Shruti,

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Usually, when hovering over a message, it would highlight grey. When typing in and sending messages containing mentions of external communication tools, like Skype or Google Hangout, or payment methods, like PayPal, the text will be highlighted in yellow and and a pop up will appear to direct users to Upwork TOS. Is that what you're referring to?

I am not sure either. Perhaps it was the pop up you are referring to but it couldn't load properly so I only saw a yellow highlighted message (many times as I clicked on the text). Although the message text I am referring to does not have any link or mention of skype, Paypal etc. or it can simply be some minor glitch. I just wanted to make sure that double-tapping clients name or text or long clicking any of those ( coz I am not sure what exact action prompted yellow highlight) does not do anything as in it is not some sort of function. Thank you for taking the time to read and reply, I appreciate it.
