My Client Fraud Me

Hy, I'm new to Upwork I do motion graphics & video editing, I don't know how to contact with customer support urgently but really I had a bad experience.
Recently I did the work of my client he asked me but he totally dislikes it, He called me again & again unprofessional. As I'm new here I frightened. I don't want a negative review. He asked me for a refund. I just refund him to avoid further problems.

But when I open his youtube channel he uploaded my video to his channel ??
If he dislikes that why he upload that video on his channel. I think he fraud me. I need the amount back that I refund him. What is this?? I really obsessed. Is there anyone to help me??

re: "I did the work of my client he asked me but he totally dislikes it"

Never say something like that.

You don't know that.

The client CLAIMED he didn't like your work.

How can YOU know if this is true. You can't read his mind.

So all you can say is: "The client claimed that he didn't like my work."

You can NOT say "The client did not like my work."

What if the client is lying?
Maybe the client is lying in order to trick you into giving him the work for free.

Here is what you need to understand:

A client is NOT REQUIRED to like your work.

He still needs to pay for it.

Example:

Freelancer: Okay, the video is done. The cost is $100.

Client: Well... I didn't like it.

Freelancer: I am sorry to hear that. The cost is still $100.

Client: In fact I hated it.

Freelancer: Oh, well in that case... the cost is $100.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Do you think Upwork considers my request?

In your example what If I charged my client ? what about the negative rating if the client will give me?

Sorry to hear that Hamza.

I've got simillar bad exiprience in the same field. I've just got small amount back after dispute but I would pay much more to him to leave me to work in peace.

I think your case is TOS violation so you should report that to UpWork team.

Keep it up and don't be afraid you just did your job and here like in my case is sometimes more than dificult.

Best luck in the future.

Keep the faith!

How do I contact the team? In Fiverr, It's easy to contact but here I'm still finding a way to contact.

It was  a litle bit tricky for me even as toprated

Try to contact them  trough help support pages   https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us

re: "How do I contact the team?"

You have no reason to contact Upwork.

You already gave the client a refund.

The contract is over.

This matter is now over, as far as Upwork is concerned,

There is nothing that Upwork can do for you.

However... because you were not paid for the video, you own the rights to it. The client does not own it.

You can file a DMCA takedown notice or otherwise work with YouTube to have it removed from their site. Or you can create your own YouTube channel or account and post it there.
