Hello there,
I've been using up work rwgularly since months. But last time (yesterday) i saw that I'm just unable to login.
My contracts got ended byself and I've just got mails from upwork that I've ended them.
In fact, i didn't do anything like this.
This is just frustrating for me that in coming days, i was about to get payments from clients and also was thinking to have an agency account.
I would willingfully provide the username & email once someone from the upwork contacts. (as i cant post it here).
when i try to signup with this email address, it just accepts it but if i enter the same username i had with this account, it says the username already exists.
i had to create this account just to post this, and i have no plans to use this account regularly, just resolve my issue.
What should I do now? Please help me ASAP as there's a lot good going on with my profile.

Hi Mayur,
Your account is reopened and you can log in at any time. Our team will also close your second account as having more than one is not allowed. Thank you.

Yes i had to create this new account just to talk with upwork. My original account is not accessible anyhow and i didnt even get any email from upwork why it's behaving like this.

All of that stays on the account that it's connected to. You're not allowed to create a new account in order to comply with the Terms of Service.

I have the exact same issue
It says username incorrect and when I make an account with the same username it says the account already exist.

Like Abu, I made this account so I could contact you guys. I haven't logged in for a couple of years & I forgot my username. I just logged in with my email address a couple of days ago. Though a warning in yellow font about my email never been registered or something pops up but I was still able to log in successfully so I never really given it much thought. Yesterday was different story & now I couldn't get into my old account.

Hi, I was just trying to log in to my Upwork account that I have since 2015, but did not remember my password and then I got an email telling that "An unknown device or browser has been used to access your account" but it was me trying to log in to my account, my email address on that account is **Edited for Community Guidelines**, but then when I tried to log in again it told me that my user name or email address were not valid, so I created a new account with the same email address, but what I need is my old account that I have already set up previously. Hi, I'm also suffering from the same issue. When I input my email **Edited for Community Guidelines** to log in I see the error message about incorrect username. I didn't log in for some years, so that maybe that's the reason.

I have an update: I managed to remember my username and seems I had changed email in my account, but I don't remember what was it... In the email box that I mentioned above the last mail from upwork was about changing email in my account (I can provide the date if needed). Hope it was me changing the account email, but not someone else
