My website as a reference

I messed up and put my website in a proposal but it was not for their business on my website but to show them my experience with the topic that they need an editor for.  Am I going to get bumped out of outwork?  I am new and just saw that I am not allowed to give out personal information but I didn't see the website as personal.  Advice?

Regina - no, you're not going to get 'bumped out'. You're ok with sharing a website, email, phone number, etc. Whatever works best to display your work and further communicate with your prospective client. It is not against the rules. I would take a closer look at their regulations.

Best,

Lila
