NO HIRES

ON UPWORK ALMOST ONE YEAR NOW. STUDENT AT DEVRY FOR PROGRAMMING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEGREE. STILL NO HIRES.

UPWORK KEEP THEIR TOP FREELANCERS ON TOP TO KEEP THEIR REVENUE FLOWING.

NEW FREELANCERS HAVE NO HOPE OF BEING HIRED. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED FOR YOUR FEES.

Why are you going to Devry of all the schools for programming when you have 25+ years experience supposedly?

Presumably he chose DeVry because he likes their all caps policy.

They can't be faulted for doing this -- they're in the business to turn a profit for shareholders.

But the "top freelancers" started out at the bottom, as new freelancers. I wouldn't consider myself a "top freelancer", more of a middle of the pack freelancer, but I got there by offering competitive service at competitive rates, and taking on jobs that were beneath the notice of top freelancers. On the other hand, if you're not getting anywhere after a year, then perhaps you're not a good fit for the platform or your approach needs an overhaul.

You were given a lot of feedback previously on your profile and the problems with it, which is why clients don't hire you. You ignored that feedback and are still not getting hired. Perhaps it's time to at least try some of those suggestions?

The OP is hoping the US Attorney General will investigate and find wrong-doing. Good luck with that.
