Need Clarification from Upwork

I need a clarification! Someone asked my identity. I just gave him. But I did not know he wanted to open upwork account. While i knew the matter, I asked him to return the id. He did not return the id. Rather than he threatened me , i cannot open id forever. I have opened a new one. I don't know the history of my other account. But he told me Upwork closed that one. In this case, will I be able to continue this new id ? or i am banned for a lifetime for that fraudulent person.  I need some clarifications. Thanks
