Hope everyone is having a good day, and week while I am at it.
I am Christopher Saleh. I have worked in the tech sector for 25 years, but during that same time, I have gotten my graduate degree in Behavioral psychology and have been doing research in behavioral psychology, and always written articles and research papers in that field occasionally. A book will be coming out mid-next year. I will answer the basics and then move on to something I wrote yesterday morning while walking and taking nature photos.
- What field do you work in, and where are you located? I have been in the tech sector and started my own full-service technology company. My aim is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge technology for small and local businesses that have a hard time competing with their corporation competitors. It's not a very popular pitch to investors, but I will find one who will agree with me that you can make a profit and do some good for the community and the backbone of this country, the middle class.
- What are you hoping to learn from other members? I have always been a student and still am. Whatever there is to learn, I am game. I don't think we should ever stop learning. The same is true with teaching and mentoring when we have the opportunity.
What (or who) inspires you? There are a few individuals who inspire me, but humanity and morality, and the ethical code of decent people inspire me and makes me want to continue becoming a better person each and every day. I am working on two side projects, which I will not go into detail, or this will turn into a book. I am working as an advocate of education system reform, being a student and professor myself. I also am all in raising awareness of mental health and its importance. The book that I am writing is all about that. There is a lot more I will share with you, along the way. But, let me leave you the words that came into my head as I was taking pictures of flowers and nature this week sometime, in my morning walk with Kobe, my new puppy and best furry friend. You don't have to read it. This is really where I should stop. But, I usually go with my intuition, and this is my introduction and I think it does that really well. I am not a poet in any form, but I do write occasionally when inspired.

From sunsets ablaze to faces filled with grace,
Photography’s lens paints life’s vibrant embrace.
In shadows and light, the subtle interplay,
A symphony of contrasts, both night and day.
Silent whispers captured, a visual rhyme,
Photography, the language transcending time.
Each frame a testament, a fragment of truth,
Moments suspended, revealing life’s verve.
The lens, a magic key, unlocking the heart,
Photography, the conduit of visual art.
In stillness or motion, a world unexplored,
A journey of discovery, cherished and adored.
The beautiful art of photography, it’s true,
Unveils the wonders that lie within and through.
