To the new freelancers on the platform,

I just wanted to give you some words of encouragement tonight. 

Putting yourself out there is not easy, and being rejected over and over is soul-crushing. But ultimately it will be okay!

I know firsthand what it's like to get that first job (or no job at all for a long time) and be caught up in the silence that follows. 

Also, your brand does not stop here - explore other options, and leverage your skills. I am even up to folks using this thread to connect and reach out if you need a hand with figuring things out. You can always learn something from others, no matter how far out in the sea you've made it. If you have socials that you want to share, feel free - I'd love to follow new people and make some friends. 

Don't give up, keep trying your best 🙂

Thanks for this very positive message, I needed this.

Sometimes I feel like my hands are tied, I had to wait for a while and then I had to mess around with scammers. 

Yet, I still try hard to improve myself. I hope everyone else also would feel better after seeing your post.

Unfortunately, it is inevitable to encounter scam postings and clients on this network, but I am confident you will soon connect with reputable people! It is not easy, and that's the reason why I posted. I've also had a difficult time - and I want others to know that we can be in this together!
