Hello ,Hope you are doing good

I am new on up work, I APPLIED for a typing job number was given on upwork,I contact through wtsapp number.than he send me some details about the projects,ask me to choose the project number and than pay the security fee according to the project number after that you will get the project thriugh email. I AM confused here either its true or scaming,need suggestion and guideline about this matter should i pay the security or not?

Please read the terms and conditions before moving forward on Upwork. You are not allowed to communicate off the platform without a contract in place. And yes, the "client" is running a scam. You don't have a job. Instead, the person wants to take your money and will keep asking for more. You will never receive any money. You can protect yourself and your account by following the TOS.
