New to Upwork

Hi, I just sent my first proposal and I have received a message from the client to contact her/him through telegram. What should i do to be safe. I am here to look for a job but avoiding scam as well.

Always connect and chat via Upwork chat. Most probably this client is a scammer, avoid it and report to Upwork. 

A genuine client shall never ask u to contact any 3rd party platform.

Hi Karen,

I checked the job post you were referring to and it appears that it's already been taken down because it was in violation of Upwork TOS.
