Hi all! Quick question! I am new to Upwork and just upgraded to Freelancer Pro Membership. How exactly can I view other competitors bids? Do I have to submitt a proposal before I can see other bids? Thanks in advance!

You won't be able to see anyone's bids (not in the way they are shown on ofter freelancing platforms, thank God 🙂 ).

You'll only see the highest, the lowest, and maybe the average (not sure, I stick to the basic membership) bid - and absolutely nothing else.

I remember when Upwork used to show these to everybody.

I wasn't interested in seeing that then, and I'm not interested now. Good riddance.

My rate is my rate.

What other freelancers bid on a project has nothing to do with how what I am going to charge in order to make the project worth my time.
