New to upwork! How to improve my profile?

Hello!

I am completly new to Upwork. I have never used a freelancer platform before.

I am a new translator so I don't have great experience.

However I believe I have the right qualifications

I am a postgraduate translation student. Although maybe in this age and day that doesn't mean much...

I still haven't got any jobs (I have to admit thought that this is only my first week here) and I am wondering if there's something I can do to improve my profile?

Also can someone help with my VAT number? It doesn't get approved, although I know for a fact that it's a valid VAT number. I use it when I do my taxes. (I am from Greece by the way)

I am open for suggestions and constructive feedback!

Hi Christina,

You can verify the validity of a VAT number by entering it in the VIES database. Let me know if it verifies in the database but not on Upwork. Thank you.

The database says it's invalid so this might be my country's problem.
