No replied to proposals

Hi,
I am sending detailed proposals to the jobs I am confident I can complete but even then I have no replies from any of them. Most of the jobs ate still open and I don’t know why clients do not hire someone or close the job offer?
I want to know what am I missing here and normally how long it takes for a client to decide which one of the freelance I must hire? Although most of them have mentioned urgent requirement.

There is no magic wand.

Clients may take up to ten seconds to hire you or up to a fortnight or more.

You might be confident that you are the best fit for a job, but a client may see it differently.

On average, I say it takes three to four days or sooner for clients to reply to a proposal.
