Wanda, you will not start receiving invitations (at least, not viable ones--the scammers will come) until you have established a track record on UW. Probably not until you have a JSS. Until then, it's an uphill slog of searching out job posts that are a perfect fit for you, on which you can definitely over-deliver, and then landing those contracts. It's a long game. I came here with 20+ years of freelance experience and it took a month to get my first contract and another month to get my second, and another six months to start feeling any momentum.
