Not receiving connects as a new account

Hi there! I created an Upwork account on July 10th, 2024, and I haven't received any connects since then. I have checked my Connects History and there's still nothing. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this issue. Thank you!

So Upwork has introduced a scam, where new users are required to purchase at least $15 worth of Connects. However, after spending them on proposals, you often don't receive any responses, resulting in wasted money.

Why did you that.. if we don't have 20$ what we do???

so plese do it as it was. otherwise we choose other platforms to freelance.. as new  we have to get free connects we need 0$ capital business models Example- YouTube, freelance was but now isn't.  so make it as before

Tell Upwork this new upgrade has been a bad experience for new freelancers and this means you're stylishly rejecting new freelancers.

Well, we won't waste an money because fiverr doesn't demand for this.

Thank you Joanne for the update. However I was exited to start as a young freelancer. Upwork should encourage fresh freelancer by providing free connects as they did earlier as it will be very difficult for us to get clients initially. Expecting someone to reach Upwork regarding this.I thought of trying small projects with free connects and then move on to plans once I get atleast one project. I am disappointed now.
