Not receiving connects as a new account

Hi there! I created an Upwork account on July 10th, 2024, and I haven't received any connects since then. I have checked my Connects History and there's still nothing. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this issue. Thank you!

Hi all,

 

Upwork currently requires new freelancers to do one of two things before being able to submit a proposal for a job: subscribe to our Freelancer Plus membership plan for $19.99 USD a month, or purchase Connects. After you fulfill this requirement you will also receive 50 free Connects to further help you get started on Upwork.

Hey, I just signed up and it's been more than 2 days but I still haven't received my 10 free connects as mentioned on the Upwork site. Please can someone guide me as to why, and how do the connects actually work. If a client rejects my proposal, do i get my connects back or not, I need to know this for sure before I buy connects

recently signed up as a new freelancer on Upwork and I am eager to start applying for jobs. However, I have noticed that I have not yet received the initial 50 connects that are typically provided to new freelancers to help them get started on the platform.

Could you please assist me in understanding why I have not received these connects? Is there an additional step I need to complete or a requirement I might have overlooked?

You will get 50 connects free as a new member by adding billing method and verification feel free if you have any query

Freelancers have 2 options.

Pay for Freelancer Plus membership plan for $20 USD a month,

or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD

i am a new member on a basic plan . why can't i get to buy 10 connects.  i keep seeing 100 connects.  why??????????????

I'm just a new member in UPWORK to get a job, and as far as I know, every new member will receive a free connection; however, I didn't receive any free connections to my account. How am I going to claim or receive my free connections?

I created my account the 26th of july and as of today, 29th of july, my current connects balance is 0.

Hello Alberto! 

New accounts on Upwork typically receive 50 free connects to help get started. These connects can take up to 48 hours to be assigned after you create your profile.

If you still haven't received them, you can try the following steps:

1. Check your "Connects History" under the "Reports" section to see if the free connects were added and used.
2. If they aren't there, contact Upwork Support to inquire about the missing connects.

 

They should be able to help you resolve this quickly!

When I created my account, I understood that I would receive 50 free connects upon verification. I have successfully completed the verification process; however, I have not yet received the promised free connects.
