Not receiving connects as a new account

Hi there! I created an Upwork account on July 10th, 2024, and I haven't received any connects since then. I have checked my Connects History and there's still nothing. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this issue. Thank you!

I'm Karen and I'm a beginner in this excellent platform! trying to understand how it works and seeking to generate a good connection with the rest of the freelancers and companies (clients) to be able to work in a great way so I accept advice!

A question... I don't receive yet from Upwork some connections to apply a work. I understand that when you start here you receive some o not?

I am waiting for free connects as I have created my account about 24 hours before, but didn't get the free connects till. 

I am worrying about the connects so that I can start my journey on this excellent platform. 

I'd appreciate any insights you could provide!

This excellent company, as you put it, no longer issues free connects. Well, they do, but you must either join Freelancer Plus for $20 and they will give you 50 additional conects, or I believe purchase 100 connects and they will give you 50 free.

I joined Upwork two days ago, but I didn’t receive any Connects. I heard that you get 40 free Connects when you join, but they haven’t been credited to my account yet.

It has been more than 3 months (since mid-May 2024) that Upwork no longer provides free Connects at sign up.

I'm a freelancer basic user and new to upwork so if theres anything I might've missed that you need to do to get the 10 connects please let me know!
I've also seen that you may need to wait 48 hours to get your connects but as you can see in the pictures above its been more than a week now since the start of the billing cycle.
