Not receiving connects as a new account

Hi there! I created an Upwork account on July 10th, 2024, and I haven't received any connects since then. I have checked my Connects History and there's still nothing. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this issue. Thank you!

Have you purchased any connects since you registered? Your free 50 connects will be added to the first purchases of connects you make.

In order to receive your starting 50 free connects, new freelancers are either supposed to upgrade their plan OR purchase 100 connects for $15.
Once you do any of the above, you'll get your 50 free connects.

You need to buy Connects first. Your profile picture needs to be of yourself and your profile needs to be more detailed. You can look at the Academy ressources to help you.

Kindly note that Upwork no longer gives free Connects at sign up.

Upwork currently requires new freelancers to do one of two things before being able to submit a proposal for a job: subscribe to their Freelancer Plus membership plan for $20 USD a month, or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD.

After you fulfill this requirement, you will also receive 50 free Connects to further help you get started on Upwork.

You may also want to update your name. Your full verified name is not shown to everyone. However, when you agree to enter into a contract with a client, we do share your verified name with that client at that time.
