You should still be able to login by using your email address. If you have forgotten your password, you can check out this help article to help you recover your login information. Once you are able to do so, please make sure to close this other account as it is a violation of the Upwork User Agreement to have more than one account.

I guess using a new email address won't permit me to see my old account from Odesk? If necessary, I will use my old email address.

Simply log in with your existing credentials. Upwork is a dressed up / rebranded version of oDesk.
your oDesk credentials work on Upwork.
