Paying a client security fee (refundable) after successful completion of assignment

Hello I am new on Upwork, so I got an interview to do a project and the client sent a list of projects available, and on each project, is an amount attached to it (security fee) to pay the client. my concern is, as a freelancer is it advisable to pay the client that security fee, or maybe it's a scam?.

It is definitely, 100% a scam. Also, the pay they offer is usually way above market rate, which is also a red flag.
