Payment Issue

I chose to hire a freelancer with fixed cost of 35CAD i.e 49USD.

But my bank account got deducted extra by CAD9.53 and CAD4.13.

Can someone please explain this?

Hi Sahil,

Thanks for reaching out. The charges are verification charges. When you add a credit card, you may need to verify your card via 2 small charges that equal a total of $10. The $10 verification charge will remain as pending while the card is being verified. It will be refunded to the credit card as soon as it is verified or after the 7th day after the card is added if verification is not completed. Hope this helps.
