Payment Schedule : monthly or limit?

Hi,
sorry for my English. I need some information.
Next time, I would like to be paid in January and not in December. Max scheduled payment is "Monthly" so I can't choose January. I don't want the option "monthly" but bimonthly (that doesn't exist), but the others otions are even worse. I have an idea.

For example, if I'm sure in December I will not exceed $900, if I set my automatic payment schedule to
"Monthly (next on Dec 29) to Direct to Local Bank and Only when balance is $1,000.00 or more",
will I be paid after December? It is for sure?

"Withdrawal limit" that I've fixet to $1,000 is stronger than "monthly" as payment method for Upwork?

Yes. When you are below the threshold, no payment will be effected.
