Payment Verification and Protection

Hi,

I recently joined upwork as freelancer and today I received my first offer. My client is also new to upwork and he informed me that he has already verified the payment. It's showing the same in job posting but in offer it still shows payment is not verified.

Should I accept this offer? Would this case be covered under hourly payment protection?
