Hello,

I have withdrawn my money from Upwork to Paypal, besides the Upwork fee, taxes, and 2$ transaction fee. There is an extra fee of 5% from Paypal. I don't know why? 

The question is if there is a 2$ transaction fee to Paypal, then why do we have to pay an extra 5% fee. And I don't know whether this fee goes to Paypal or Upwork?

Is there any way to avoid these fees?

Dear Sir,

I ask from Paypal support and the answer was "

Any payment received in your PayPal account for goods and service will be charged for transaction fees.

I see that the payments from "..." INTERNATIONAL LTD. was not received as a new goods and service payment due to which you were not charges fees for these transactions.

I would suggest you to contact Upwork Escrow Inc. regarding the same."

It means the payment we received from Upwork to paypal it is for goods and service that why I was change 5% extra. So please could tell me how to solve this?
