Payment via smartphone

I want to pay my freelancer using my smartphone.  Whenever I try this (such as clicking 'view details' when the freelancer requests payments) nothing happens.  I have to ultimately sign on using my laptop (which isn't usually with me) in order to make the payments.  Is there no way to do this?
