Pending payment on fixed-price contract

Hi, I have agreed to a fixed- priced contract with a client, however, there were some complications and she said that she will add plus 5$. So I have completed the job and proposed a new contract which included plus 5$. Now when I go to "overview", in "pending" I can only see the date when I will get my money for the agreed amount, and for the extra 5$ it just says pending, there isn't any date. Does anyone know why it is like that?

Your client can just pay you $5 as a bonus; there's no need to start a new contract.
