Please help. Client wants to hire me but wants me pay me directly

Hello

I'm a freelancer and I'm new to upwork. A client accepted my proposal and wants to hire me directly through their company as a Virtual Administrative Assistant. They refuse to pay me through Upwork and have sent me a direct deposit form. I'm skeptical, company does have a business website with contact information listed along with address and email. How do I know if they are 100% legit and can I trust providing them with my direct deposit information and personal information as well for their payroll company?

It is a serious violation of Upwork ToS to exchange funds off-platform.

Those people are scammers. They are trying to steal money from your bank account.

Click on the "Three Dots" icon or the "Flag as inappropriate" link button on the job posting and report them. Do not communicate with them any more.

Thank you for you're quick feedback and response. I reported the job/client and I also blocked them from my phone as well.Hopefully, I will be selected by a legitimate company/client.
