Profile Approval (3 Days On)

Hello,
I am completely new to Upwork, having just created an account this week. I was under the impression that a new profile would get approved (or rejected) within 24 hours, but in my case it has been three days and I have yet to receive any feedback: my profile remains "under review" and I definitely cannot submit any proposal. Is it usually just a matter of waiting few days or a week or so? Otherwise, is there any contact person/email address to which I may write to follow up on this?
