Profile Location

I am new to Upwork.

I am a US citizen and split my time between Portland, OR USA and San Pedro, Belize. My mailing address, tax filing, etc is all thru the states but I am currently in Belize and will not be back to the states until our borders here open (closed due to Covid).

My question relates to location - can I apply for work for US applicants only? If not, how do I change my profile to allow for international assignments?

Kathrine, Upwork's location field is not intended to reflect citizenship to nationality. It indicates where you live right now. If you split your time evenly.... then it indicates where you are physically located right now.

Your location is Belize now, so it is not Upwork's intention that you be able to apply for U.S.-only jobs.
