Profile changed to "private"?

Hello, I joined upwork a few days ago. I do not show up in searches and have been told it is because search visibility changes every few weeks—in time I may be visible to clients.

I am online consistently looking for jobs and adding to my profile, and applying for jobs, and available for work this is the message I get.

While I am online actively looking for jobs this is the message I receive:

" We noticed you have not been working through Upwork lately. To improve clients' search results, and show them more freelancers who are available, we have changed your profile to "private" until you are ready to start taking on new jobs.

Please explain.

Ange, Upwork will set your profile to private if you don’t earn money for a month. Just ask them to make it public, there’s a link or button you click for that.
