I only recently began looking for work on Upwork. I've been a successful graphic designer for 30+ years but I'm having some trouble understanding the estimates that clients provide. For instance I see requests for logos for $50. I've been paid typically $1500 and up for logo design. I understand this is a different sort of market — but do I resond to these requests and provide a rate I'm more comfortable with? It's a bit discouraging to see the kind of estimates for design.

Hi Stephen! Keep in mind that some people who look for freelancers are not familiar with freelance pricing. Build a strong profile and add your best work to your portfolio. And I suggest you apply for milestone jobs first, to get things going, and then you work o your hourly rate. Good luck.
