Hello !
Eversince I'm using upwork, I never got hired for a job I did apply for. For all the projects I worked on I was invited. I barely submit proposals when I am not invited -as I read some where that applying for too many jobs could negatively affect my stats... Can someone tell me what they think is the decent amount of proposals I can submit in a single month? I also noticed that eversince my jss is 100%, I'm receiving fewer invitations; what could be the reasons for that? Thank you!

Since freelancers have to pay for connects, you can apply to as many jobs as you wish without negatively affecting your JSS.  

We're all receiving fewer invitations.  Clients on the free membership only receive 3 invites which isn't enough.  They are encouraged to spend more which inhibits clients who have low budgets.

I apply to about 2-3 jobs a day.  Don't waste connects on jobs you're not suitable for.  Be smart, pay attention to hire % and reviews before hitting the "submit" button.
