Qtn re payment into a bank account - '$0.99 USD per withdrawal' when

Hi,

I've just accepted my first contract and had a question re payment. I'm going to have paymemt deposited to my Canadian bank account. It says '$0.99 USD per withdrawal'. I don't really understand what this means? When I withdraw from my account any cash I will be charged? But I also get paid for my full time job into this account?

Any clarification would be super helpful!

Thanks for reaching out. The $0.99 USD per withdrawal is the transaction charge that Upwork deducts from your earnings. The funds you withdraw will be transferred to your chosen payment method.
