Query about invitation

I recently bid on a project 2 days before but today I notice that client hires someone without any invitation to anyone. How is this possible ?

Easy. Many clients post a job and select from the proposals they received, but never invited freelancers to apply. (Did you really apply to a job for translation when you don't speak either of the language pair?)
