Question About Bringing clients in upwork.

Hi!
I am a new comer in Upwork. I am trying to build my reputation through Upwork by delivering my quality work.

My question is....
If I reach a client who doesn't know about Upwork and complete his task. Then bring him to upwork and tell him to pay here. Is it legal to Upwork?

That is I will reach clients by email and complete his/her task then will tell him to pay me on Upwork by hiring me.

In this way, the new client can share his working experience with me on Upwork and besides Upwork will get a new client who may be a potential customer for the future.

Note that, I will not tell him to post a job on Upwork because there other freelancers who will apply and he may be confused about me.
