Question about number of proposals in a Job Listing

What does it mean in a Job Listing when it states

"Proposals: Less than 5". or "Proposals: 20-50"?Screen Shot 2019-01-16 at 1.49.45 PM.png

It's the number of proposals sent to a job, for example a client posts a job - 2 people apply (freelancers who send proposals) that would be displayed at "less than 5", another example is 30 people apply for the job, that would appear as "20-50".

This is not clear. Do you mean that 2 people have applied so far or that 2 people should apply?

Hi Gilbert,

I would just like to clarify that this is a thread that was posted a year ago, but to answer your question, Marko was explaining about the estimated number of proposals that the client has received for their job post. Several freelancers can submit proposals to a job post, and the client will decide whom they want to hire for the job. Thanks!
