Quick Tips - New UpWork Freelancer

Hello All,

I am new here at UpWork and thought I would share some things that made things easier for me.

Tip 1 - Clean up your Job Feed:
I would like to share one tip when searching through the 1000s of jobs listed in the "Find Work" job feed.

If you click the Down Vote - Thumb Icon in the top right corner of a job listing you can mark it as "Just not interested", "Budget too low", "Doesn't Match Skills".

This is a great way to keep track of jobs you have already read and do not want to see in your "Find Work" job feed. It also provides feedback to UpWork to help improve search results and job listings.downvote.JPG

Tip 2 - Jobs by country:
Verify your account and country. There are certain jobs only available in certain countries.

Tip 3 - Links:
I found many useful articles on the UpWork community website (https://community.upwork.com/) and the help and support pages (https://support.upwork.com/).upworksupport.JPG

Tip 4 - Beginner Tutorials:
1. Upwork Getting Started for freelancers Video tutorials - https://www.upwork.com/hiring/education/getting-started-for-freelancers/
2. How to Create a Proposal That Wins Jobs - https://www.upwork.com/resources/how-to-create-a-proposal-that-wins-jobs

The UpWork Community is a great idea to connect with other freelancers and learn from other people's experiences. We are all in this together and there is more than enough work to go around. So lets us help each other improve and focus on jobs that match our individual skill sets.

If you have anything to share post it and I will update the thread and give you credit.
