Hello. I am new to Upwork and one of the job offers I'm submitting a proposal to, asks to also submit a quote. I have no idea what that is, or if it is just another way to say proposal. This is what it says: 'We look forward to receiving your quotes'

A "quote" means:
If this is a fixed-price contract, how much will you charge us to do this project?
For example:
Client: "I want an artist to draw a picture of a cat playing the piano."
Freelancer: "My quote is $100."

Preston, you’re undoubtedly correct, but since the client didn’t specify price quote, literary quotes aren’t ruled out. “Know yourself. If you need help, call the FBI” is one of my favorites.

Don't you just hate these vague job descriptions? I would just hit back with:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”-Mark Twain plus flag them for vague description.
