I would just like to know if do I need to wait for an invitation via email that I am eligible for rising talent before I could take the readiness test and have a badge?

The Upwork Readiness Test covers the best practices and safety tips that top freelancers use to build successful businesses on Upwork. You don't need to wait for an invitation to take the test. The option is available to you when you log in to your account and go to Find Word> Upwork Readiness Test. As for your concern with the Rising Talent Badge, it is assigned automatically when a freelancer meets the requirements listed here. Thank you.
