Review with Milestone Projects

I am still fairly new to Upwork - been actively on here for about two months.

I just completed my first and only milestone project - submitted it today and so stoked.

I tried to see an option to request/ask the client to leave a review, in the hopes that it would help future jobs.

Unfortunately I don't see this option, please could someone that is more savvy than me assist 🙂

Thank you so much.

Hi Deoni-Lizel,

I think I can help you with your question. I believe your contract may not yet be eligible for feedback. But there is a way to check.

To check, do the following steps:

1. Go into the "Deliver Work" Tab on the top of the Upwork main screen (not the community section of Upwork).

2. Choose "Your Active Contracts" from the drop down menu.

3. Find the contract in question and click on it to pull up the contract details screen.

4. In the dark green section of the contract overview page select "Contract Details."

5. Scroll to the bottom right of the contract details page.

6. If your contract is not yet eligible to request feedback, you'll see the following message:

"This contract is not yet eligible for feedback

You can request feedback on active contracts with payments beginning 30 days after the contract started. The feedback will appear on your profile, and does not impact your Job Success Score."
Request feedback- (This button is not active if the above message is provided and your contract is not yet eligible for feedback)

If the contract is eligible for feeback, you will not get the above message and the "request feedback" button will be active and will allow you to send a request to the client for feedback related to that specific active contract.

The other option is if the client or you closes the contract because no more milestones are expected. In that case, both you and the client will be eligible to provide feedback as normal at the end of a project.

I hope this helps!
