For how long rising talent badge is given to freelancers?

Is there any expiry date of this badge and under what circumstances the badge was taken back?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Once you have enough work history on Upwork, your Rising Talent status will automatically be replaced by a Job Success Score (JSS). Once you earn a Job Success Score, you can start working toward Top Rated status. To maintain your Rising Talent badge, you need to be constantly fulfilling the requirements listed in this help article.

Hi Alexander,

I have a similar question..
If, for one reason, I am not able to keep applying for jobs/ submitting any proposal for the next 1-2 weeks, will I lose my recently earned Rising Star badge?

I am really really happy that Upwork generously offered me the badge, so I wouldnt want to risk losing it.. but I am concerned that I might not be able to apply for any job on the platform for the next 1-2 weeks..
