Setting up an agency from an external company

Hello, I'd like to know if the app development company I work for can set up an agency on upwork? And if so can we just add all of our developer staff as freelance developers on this site, then add them to the created agency? And finally, can all payment go directly to the company? Many thanks

Jamie, you mean you have a real life company with employees, and you want to work on Upwork as an agency, add your employees as agency members, and then work for clients as an agency?

YES, that is exactly how agencies work and yes, the payments for the work done by any of your agency freelancers through the agency will go to the agency (company) directly, not to the freelancers.

Hi Jamie,

Agencies are set up from freelancers where they offer their services as a team. The company will need to set up a client account where they can hire all developers to work for them, they can also divide them in teams if needed. All payments must be made trough Upwork as well.
If you have any additional questions feel free to post them here, thank you!
