I just entered upwork.

Isn't there any free connect?

I have already chosen free membership but still no connet.

Even if you opt for the free membership plan, you still need to purchase connects in order to bid on projects.

Hi Nicholas, 

You should have received 20-free connects to get you started on Upwork. I have escalated this to the team, and the Customer Support Team will reach out to you to assist you further.

Hi, I have a problem: I created my profile 2 days ago, it got approved, and I didn't get any connects. I saw that there is a problem with getting connects and I waited 24h, but nothing has changed. I still have 0 connects

(my profile is 100% filled, and I have my own profile picture on)

David, going forward there are no more free connects on Upwork.  This is a recent change they started implementing last month.  I am sure someone will come along and tell you this more officially but you can read a thread about it here:

I created an account 1 week ago but still connect is not available.

I signed up here on last 20 June.

But when I logged in here, there is no any connection.

It was zero.

I am new here, so I thought I have to buy connections myself.

But my friend said me initial connections must be at least 20.

So I am here to know about the reason of why my connection  is zero.

Please help me as soon as possible.

Connects are not free anymore. If you have already used the 20 connects you received when you just signed up now you need to pay.
