Signing up

I'm trying to sign up as a freelanceer on Upwork and the part where it asks me what my main skill is, won't let me type my answer.  There is no text box there and I can't submit my application.

Doesn't a list shows up when you type a letter? I think you have to choose from a list you don't have to type it all the way, I'm not 100% sure though, it's been a while.

To add your skills, you just need to start typing on the skills section of your profile. You will see the menu selection for the skills available. Here's an example for your reference:
