Hello. I'm new to this process and wonder how often do you get work translating from Spanish to English and English to Spanish?

I normally get more work for English to Spanish translations than the reverse but it can slow down sometimes. I get at least 2 jobs a month for translation but a lot more for interpretation. Something that might help is to update your profile tags weekly. Try tags like Castilian Spanish, interpreting, and audio transcription (if you offer those services). Also, be specific about your translation work in terms of fields. You can tag business translation, legal translations, contract translations, etc. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I don't have personal experiences but I can say that Spanish to English and English to Spanish translations are among the most common language pairs, as Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world and English is a global language. Therefore, demand for these translations is likely to be high.
