Hey everyone,
I'm struggling with my profile. I am quite confident on my skills as I have a decent track record on my career and am quite successful, but I'm not able to convert on upwork to leverage going solo. I have been looking around other profiles and trying to capture best practices, but I really don't know what makes a good profile and proposals around here.
I'm considering getting someone from the marketing area / a copywriter to write a better copy for the description and to review my proposals. Has anyone done that? Are the results worth it?
Advice is appreciated.

Take the Academy courses, they really tell you everything you need to know and they are free. I personally would not pay money for anybody to improve a profile, and they might not get the tone right. It has to be your own voice, otherwise there will be a disconnect to your other communication.
Your profile is not bad, a few things to improve: I like that you start with questions, but they need to be more personal, meaning including personal pronouns. And they can't stand on their own, you need to answer them. You go straight to an introduction, so the answers are missing.
