“You can earn with your skills on Upwork!” “Upwork is the freelancer’s home for success.” “You’re a freelancer and you’re not on Upwork, are you really a freelancer?”

”Upwork is not even a place for Nigerians!”

I heard so much of this and had enough, now here I am.

Here I am, finding out that there’s a lot more to Upwork than the ears hear;

Here I am, finding out that there’s something called a connect and when it finishes you can’t  send anymore proposals so you have to buy;

Here I am finding out that I’d have to fight for jobs with seniors in the world where experience is the ticket to job offerings;

Here I am finding out that there’s still a lot to be done asides from joining—you have to get noticed or you’d leave like you never came;

I know not how to go about it, but Here I am anyway.
